Singapore Hedge Fund Awards Cayman Islands Fund Directorship To Carne

Singapore credit hedge fund manager Saka Capital has announced the appointment of Carne Global Financial Services, the international investment advisory firm, to provide directorship services to the Saka Capital Liquid Credit Fund.

The Cayman Islands fund is looking to take advantage of trading opportunities in Asian credit markets. The company utilises corporate bonds and derivatives, credit indices, convertible debt and options with particular attention to liquid assets.

"We recognise the importance of having robust corporate governance systems in place while delivering strong performance for our investors. Both are now essential in today's competitive landscape," Assan Din, the chief executive and chief investment officer of Saka Capital, said in a statement.

Peter Heaps, the managing director of Carne Cayman Islands, has been appointed as non-executive director of the fund.
